Prime example of why I'm not posting pics yet...

Here's a pic of the mani I did for Christmas.  My nails are a bit longer now, this is right after I had to cut them all off :/  As you can see, lighting is bad and pic was taken with a cell phone :/

I like this mani though :) Just wish I had longer nails/ better pics and pics to do it justice.

I used China Glaze Adventure Red-y as a base (1 coat wonder),
then a coat of Wet N' Wild Fergie No Place Like Home glitter,
then an unnamed LA Colors silver glitter on the tips (reminiscent of Essie Set In Stones),
then I stamped a snowflake on my accent finger and glued a little holographic star in the middle of that.  Topped it all off with Seche.
Then I went to the grocery store and was complimented by the cashier with a knowing smile.  She must be a nail addict too, she had gorgeously manicured tips and I couldn't help but notice she was wearing OPI liquid sand polish in purple "Can't Let Go" :)

Intro and why I don't have any posts yet :)

I just counted my nail polishes and I have over 300 not counting minis and top/base coats :-0  And instead of buying more and more...and more... I decided I should try to get more use out of the ones I have and start a nail blog!

I especially love opaque light pinks and classic colors but I have plenty of glitters, blues, holos, etc in the collection as well.  I plan on doing a nail wheel swatch-a-thon in the near future, as well as some nail art as soon as I grow out my nails a bit more.  I had to cut them off after a bad break about a month ago- so now I'm also testing out nail growth products that I'd like to review at some point too!

I have a great camera but need to work on either buying or making a light box as my pics leave much to be desired at this point!  (I am a night owl, so going outside and using the sun may or may not ever happen, hah!)

So that's what I'll be working on the next few weeks :) Hopefully I'll have some helpful swatch comparisons for you soon and some other fun stuff!!
